BatNav Network Settings

Note that the screenshots used here are from the Android version. The iOS version is almost identical.

Open the BatNav app on your phone/tablet and click on the settings icon

Select Network and enter the IP address and port as established from the previous step.

Ensure that your phone/tablet is on the same network as your NMEA WiFi device.

To confirm your phone/tablet is receiving data, click on the Logs button and select the NMEA tab.

Press the Start Logging button and you should see messages appear like the messages in this picture. Messages containing $GP are GPS messages and this containing !AI are AIS messages.
